<작품설명>
“At a moment when the seemed to have stopped, why did modern people live so busy, torturing nature and squeezing it for greater profits? Lee Baek is constantly recommending to us. Make the right choice before it is too late and before your precious life force is wasted in vain. He is shouting to us who live oppressed by the laws profit and efficiency in the human world, that a truly happy life is one free from vain desires...
Sometimes, while waiting for the soon-to-come autumn sky, I become drawing paper and create a watercolor paintng. It hangs in my mind. In the wind of the autumn fields, the rice plants, so fat that they are about to burst, turn yellow and sway wildly, bountiful and blessed. Now that everything is stagnant and slowing down, looking at the approaching autumn sky, I hope that you will become a person who believes in yourself and embraces light every day, just as the fields that overcame and endured the harsh summer are dyed golden.
-Artist Notes-

The motif of Jeong Soon-ah’s recent work is to emotionally discuss a mature life that is not ravaged by human desires through nature through a series of field works. And knowing that the value of nature, which is the ultimate goal, has a great place in human life, it allows people to participate in the insight of ideas that awaken ignornce. You can look into the idea, which allows you to recognize the nature and original form of things.
The vast fields brought by nature allow you to enjoy each scenery through the flow of the season. Rational explanations may be meaningless for the feeling of being connected to everying that the field has contained from the beginning. The field that curves the hill and has grooves is the father’s body, and the sound of the field is the silent voice of the father who lived alone in the silent space, dwelling in our abyss. And the author talks about the difficult work process in the studio in order to simply tell the feeling within the thought of creation. We explore the emotions we can relate to working and watching in the fields as the seasons flow.
The sincerity of the work is felt in the heart as printmaker Jeong Soon-ah overcomes the test of her illness and takes a leap into a new life, following Mokdan’s breath and adding meaning to the touch that builds up layers of color and attempts to have a heart-to-heart conversation with her own life. It touches me.

The great nature unfolding before our eyes gives us many emotions. If you leave the buildings and asphalt you face in the city, you can see the natural scenery in various colors depending on the season. The autumn fields turning yellow toward fruition answer our existential questions. What purpose should we live for? The author monologues that he has been sympathizing with the visible world as the source of life, distributing all things warm and abundant. For this reason, she experiences a clear conversation with herself, forgetting about the world, as she canves out the golden fields beautiful autumn on a plate. This is because we believe that everything that exists has it’s own identity and it’s own intrinsic purpose and meaning.
